Why does Windows show a SmartScreen warning?
The current TravelVPN Windows installer is unsigned. Microsoft Defender SmartScreen may label a newly downloaded app as unrecognized when it has no established publisher or download reputation. A warning alone does not prove that the file is malicious, and it does not guarantee that the file is safe.
Before you decide
Download only from travelvpn.eu/windows-download, which links to downloads.travelvpn.eu. Check the complete filename and SHA-256 value on that page. If the source or hash differs, do not run the file.
Keep Windows protection on
Do not disable SmartScreen or antivirus. Read the message and choose to proceed only if you recognize the source, the checksum matches and you trust the installer. If Windows reports malware or a different error, stop and contact support.
