Install TravelVPN on Windows
A step-by-step guide for Windows 10 and 11. Use the official download and verify the installer before opening it.
1. Download
Get TravelVPN-Setup-1.0.0-x64.exe from the Windows download page. Keep the filename and check that the download comes from downloads.travelvpn.eu.
2. Check the file
Open PowerShell in the Downloads folder and run Get-FileHash .\TravelVPN-Setup-1.0.0-x64.exe -Algorithm SHA256.
Compare the result with AC8D5446A3AB9EAE06F024F1BD01A3993B5D2DEA646AC71D6B5CA3C4735BA389. If it differs, stop and contact support.
3. Review Windows warning
The current installer is unsigned, so SmartScreen may identify it as an unrecognized app. Read what this warning means. Never turn off SmartScreen to install the app.
4. Install and connect
If you trust the verified file, run the installer and follow the Windows setup prompts. Open TravelVPN, sign in with your account, select a location and connect.

If installation fails, the checksum does not match, or you see a different security warning, stop and email support@travelvpn.eu with the Windows version and the exact message. Never send your password.
