Set Up TravelVPN in Less Than 2 Minutes

Follow the guide for your device. You can connect using the WireGuard app with either a QR code or a configuration file sent by TravelVPN.

Download WireGuard

WireGuard is the secure VPN app used to connect to TravelVPN. Install it first, then import your TravelVPN profile.

iPhone / iPad Android Windows Mac

iPhone & iPad

Best option: scan the QR code we send you.

  1. Open the App Store and install WireGuard.
  2. Open the WireGuard app.
  3. Tap Add Tunnel.
  4. Select Create from QR Code.
  5. Scan the QR code sent by TravelVPN.
  6. Allow VPN configuration when iOS asks.
  7. Turn the VPN switch on.

Android

Best option: scan the QR code from the WireGuard app.

  1. Open Google Play and install WireGuard.
  2. Open the WireGuard app.
  3. Tap the + button.
  4. Select Scan from QR code.
  5. Scan the QR code sent by TravelVPN.
  6. Name the tunnel “TravelVPN”.
  7. Turn the VPN connection on.

Windows

Best option: import the .conf file we send you.

  1. Download WireGuard from the official website.
  2. Install and open WireGuard.
  3. Click Import tunnel(s) from file.
  4. Select the TravelVPN .conf file.
  5. Click Activate.
  6. Check that the status shows active.

Mac

Best option: import the .conf file or use the App Store app.

  1. Install WireGuard from the Mac App Store.
  2. Open WireGuard.
  3. Click Import tunnel(s) from file.
  4. Select the TravelVPN .conf file.
  5. Allow VPN configuration if macOS asks.
  6. Click Activate.
